New Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi was awarded an honorary doctor of letters degree Thursday during commencement exercises at Rutger's University Camden. In an address to the graduates, Bon Jovi, 53, said, "It's okay to map out your future, but do it in pencil." Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, also spoke at the ceremony, telling the graduates: "You can't change the world with just being hopeful. To really change the world . . . you've got to sometimes do things that are uncomfortable."
